Welcome to Episode 15 of “Reel Chat” – a podcast that guarantees week in, week out – the “Reel world as we know it.”
On this very special (and extended) thirteenth episode of our “Vintage Vault” retrospective series, host Adam Stolfo is joined by co-host Brose Avard, Andrew McCaskill and special celebrity guest (and well-established Australian actor) Toby Truslove to dive head first into their most ambitious and most intimidating review yet. Today “Reel Chat” discusses 1977’s “Star Wars Episode IV – A New Hope.” – one of the most beloved and important movies in the history of cinema!
How on earth do you do justice to a film with 38 years of fandom and legacy!? A film like this deserves a deeper look than usual, and this episode of “Reel Chat” comes in at an “epic” running time of just over 2 hours (about the same length as the damn film itself)! But it’s all for a good cause, as the boys break down the legendary first chapter of a saga many regard as the most important franchise in movie history.
Learn all about it’s iconic cast, the billionaire filmmaker (love him or hate him?) that wrote and directed it, it’s amazingly talented crew, it’s incredible score and all it’s releases, it’s many, many different versions, the most important business decision in history, as well as why we’re all still waiting to see the original theatrical versions in the best possible quality.
This is certainly an “epic” podcast for an “epic” movie. Enjoy Star Wars fans… and movie fans alike!
